Ever wondered what these Quranic initials are? What is the significance of these initials or Why has God used these initials to prefix 29 chapters of Quran? How would mere initials serve any purpose in the Quran?

You will have come across these initially at the beginning of many suras in the Quran. Perhaps you may have asked these questions many times in the past but would have not got any logical answer. This note seeks to answer some of those questions. At the outset let us start by agreeing that if these initials are part of Quran then they would definitely have great significance as the Quran is God’s words to mankind. [Quran 10:37] “This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible; for it comes from the Lord of the universe. ”  [Quran 12:3] “We narrate to you the most accurate history through the revelation of this Quran. Before this, you were totally unaware. ”

These initials remained a divinely guarded secret for 1400 years. Now they are recognized as a major component of the Quran’s mathematical miracle based on the number 19. The meanings of the initials are clearly pointed out in: [Quran 2:2] A.L.M. “This scripture is infallible.” [Quran 27:1] T. S. “These (letters) constitute proofs of the Quran; a profound scripture.” [Quran 32:1] A. L. M [Quran 32:1] “This book is, without a doubt, a revelation from the Lord of the universe.”  (For detailed explanation please see Quran, The Final Testament. Authorized English Version. Translated from the Original by Dr. Rashad Khalifa. Appendices 1, 2, 24, and 26). (One of the Great Miracles [74:35], God’s Messenger of the Covenant [3:81], Two False Verses Removed from the Quran, and The Three Messengers of Islam.

In addition it is incontrovertibly proven fact that the frequencies of occurrence of the three initials that prefix Sura 2 of Quran, A.L.M, are 4502, 3202, and 2195, respectively. The sum of these numbers is 9899, or 19×521. Thus, these most frequent letters of the Arabic language are mathematically placed according to a super-human pattern. These same initials also prefix Suras 3, 29, 30, 31, and 32, and their frequencies of occurrence add up to multiples of 19 in each one of these suras. You will have also seen similar patterns for all other initials in Appendix 1 which details the mathematical miracle of Quran based on 19.
This definitely proves that these initials play an important role in the Quran’s mathematical code and serve as proof of God’s infallible scripture. We should be appreciative that God has revealed the meaning of these initials to our generation and praise and glorify God for His mercy and grace.
